Cookie Policy

Effective Date: May 26, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Circlio ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our platform. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide a better user experience, and give site owners usage information.

Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags (also called web beacons), which serve similar purposes. When we refer to "cookies" in this policy, we include these similar technologies.

2. Cookies We Use

These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. They cannot be disabled.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Circlio does not display ads and does not use cookies to track you across other websites.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Depending on enabled product settings, some cookies or similar technologies may be set by third-party services we use:

  • Supabase: Authentication cookies for secure login
  • Vercel: Hosting performance and public-route analytics tools, when enabled
  • PostHog: Privacy-focused product analytics when enabled (does not sell data or engage in cross-site tracking)

These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies. We select partners committed to user privacy.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored on your device
  • Delete some or all cookies
  • Block third-party cookies
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Block all cookies
  • Delete all cookies when you close your browser

To manage cookies in common browsers:

  • Chrome:Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies
  • Firefox:Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies
  • Safari:Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge:Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions

Note: Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using core platform features. Analytics and preference cookies can be disabled without affecting basic functionality, though your experience may be less personalized.

5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor GPC signals sent by your browser. When we detect a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for the sale or sharing of personal information, as required by applicable law, and disable optional browser analytics in that browser.

Do Not Track (DNT): We also honor Do Not Track browser signals where required by applicable state law.

Since Circlio does not sell personal information or engage in cross-site tracking, these signals primarily reinforce our existing privacy-first practices.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. We will update the "Effective Date" at the top and notify you of material changes through the Service or via email.
